Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
Manage and oversee daily activity on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.).
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and brand-consistent manner.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track social media metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, follower growth, website traffic)
Trend Research & Innovation:
Stay up-to-date with current social media trends, tools, platforms, and best practices.
Experiment with new formats, trends, and technologies to stay competitive.
Content Creation & Copywriting: Ability to craft compelling and engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
Creativity: Must be able to edit videos, Develop original ideas, create graphics, and multimedia content.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with the audience and stakeholders.
Social Media Expertise: In-depth knowledge of social platforms, their algorithms, and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage content calendars, deadlines, and multi-platform campaigns.
Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to changes in social media trends, algorithms, and industry practices.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle crises and respond strategically to negative or unexpected events.
Qualifications
Education: A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is often preferred but not always required.
Experience: Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or a similar role.
Tools: Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite), and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
