Job Summary
The Signage Operator (Installation) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and removal of indoor and outdoor advertising materials.
The ideal candidate must oversee the accurate completion of signage projects, manage installation teams, uphold stringent quality and safety protocols, and assist field operations spanning various sites.
A technically adept professional with hands-on expertise in signage installation and the management of outdoor advertising initiatives would be an ideal candidate for this position.
Oversee a range of critical duties including strategic planning, team leadership, and project execution to ensure organizational objectives are met with precision and efficiency. Develop and implement comprehensive policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational performance and maintain compliance with industry regulations. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to foster innovation, streamline workflows, and drive continuous improvement across all departments. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify gaps, and implement corrective measures as needed. Install, maintain, repair, and remove both indoor and outdoor signage, billboards, banners, branding materials, and related advertising structures as required.
Responsibilities include installing and maintaining illuminated signage, lighting systems, and other electrical components integral to advertising displays, ensuring optimal functionality and adherence to safety standards.
Perform comprehensive on-site evaluations to determine precise installation prerequisites prior to commencing project activities.
Oversee the coordination and supervision of installation teams, contractors, and field technicians as needed.
Verify that every installation adheres strictly to established specifications, project timelines, and rigorous safety protocols.
Oversee the existing signage to ensure optimal condition, assessing when maintenance or replacement is required and proposing necessary actions.
Maintain installation tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring their proper utilization and storage.
Investigate and rectify technical challenges associated with signage frameworks, illumination solutions, and mounting mechanisms.
Work collaboratively with clients, landlords, vendors, and regulatory authorities as needed throughout project implementation.
Compose comprehensive field reports, meticulously document installation records and maintenance logs, and deliver timely status updates to ensure accurate tracking and transparency throughout project phases.
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, occupational health and safety guidelines, and applicable industry regulations.
Collaborate effectively with various operational teams to execute assigned tasks within the outdoor advertising sector.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a comparable role, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with industry-specific software are essential. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are required, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Prior leadership or project management experience is a plus.
A minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience in signage installation, outdoor advertising operations, branding, fabrication, or a closely related technical discipline is required.
Proficient in the design, installation, and upkeep of both indoor and outdoor signage systems, including expertise in mounting techniques and maintenance protocols.
Proficiency in handling illuminated signage, electrical fittings, and lighting components offers a competitive edge.
Proficient in interpreting installation drawings, measurements, and site specifications.
Demonstrated proficiency in safety protocols and elevated work environments.
Proven capability to lead field teams and effectively manage multiple installation projects simultaneously.

Must be capable of functioning autonomously with limited oversight.
Holding a valid driver’s license is considered a beneficial qualification.
Preferred Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in programming languages including Python and SQL, experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and the capability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in the materials used for fabrication and the methodologies employed in signage production is essential.
