Site Manager

Job Description:

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of all site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will oversee construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality control procedures, and regulatory compliance. You will report directly to the Business Manager, Cc to CEO /COO and play a key role in the day-to-day operations of construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination: Oversee and coordinate construction site activities, ensuring smooth execution of the project from start to finish.
Client Inspection Management: Managing client inspection scheduling and Ensuring client inspection done.
Safety Management: Ensure that all safety protocols are strictly followed on site, conducting regular safety meetings and risk assessments.
Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work, ensuring it meets both company standards and industry regulations.
Team Leadership: Manage and supervise site personnel, including subcontractors, laborers, and other on-site workers, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Budget and Schedule Adherence: Monitor project costs, track progress, and ensure the project stays within the agreed budget and timeline.
Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Project Manager, including progress reports, issues encountered, and any changes to project scope or timelines.
Problem-solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process promptly.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local building codes, permits, and other legal requirements.
Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and alignment of goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in site management, preferably within the real estate and construction industry.
Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading and managing teams, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Project Management: Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, site operations, building materials, and safety regulations.
IT Skills: Proficiency in construction management software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.
Negotiation: Ability to negotiate with clients on inspections and convert to sales.
Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
