Site Auditor

The Site Auditor is responsible for conducting thorough audits of construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This role involves inspecting work processes, identifying discrepancies or inefficiencies, and reporting findings to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct on-site audits to monitor project progress and quality of work.
Inspect work processes to ensure compliance with company standards, legal regulations, and safety guidelines.
Review project documentation, including contracts, permits, and work schedules.
Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and quality.
Prepare detailed audit reports with clear findings, observations, and suggestions for corrective actions.
Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other relevant stakeholders to resolve issues identified during audits.
Ensure that any safety violations or non-compliance with safety regulations are immediately addressed.
Verify the accuracy of project materials, quantities, and equipment used.
Track and report on any changes to project scope or timelines that may affect project performance.
Provide guidance and training to site workers on quality control and safety standards.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance and compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of [5] years of experience in site auditing, construction management, or quality control.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other auditing or project management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Quality Control (e.g., CQI, Six Sigma).
Experience with construction audit software tools.
