Key Responsibilities
Interpret and explain the design intent of the supervising architect to contractors and site staff.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that the design is being implemented accurately.
Identify and report any discrepancies or deviations from the design intent.
Collaborate with contractors and site staff to resolve any design-related issues.
Ensure that all site work is carried out in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
Maintain accurate records of site progress, including photographs and reports.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Design adherence: Ensure that the design intent is accurately implemented on site, with minimal discrepancies or deviations.
Site safety: Ensure that all site work is carried out safely, with no accidents or near-misses.
Communication: Maintain effective communication with contractors, site staff, and the supervising architect.
Timeliness: Ensure that all site work is completed on schedule, with no delays.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural site supervision.
Proven experience in interpreting and implementing design intent on site.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software.
Knowledge of Nigerian building codes and regulations.
