Job Summary:  The successful candidate will coordinate company’s field sales team in achieving volume target and growing market share.  Job holder formulates and implements the sales strategy/plans, optimizes sales policies and procedures, performs budget planning and management of sales cost.  S/he provides support to the sales team through coaching and training and reports to the Sales Director.Responsibilities and Duties

Develop Sales & Marketing Plans and performs market forecast
Job holder maintains Sales System/Route-to- Market Management and product leadership
Coordinate Vendor Managed Inventory and keeps accurate records of all categories of vendors and their various Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Generates sales and allied policies in conjunction with the Legal team
Rewards Management – tracks the performance of both the Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Distributor’s and rewards accordingly
Checks on depots and ensures regular product availability and ensures that all stakeholders operate within the ambit of the contractual agreement.
Distributors/Retailers Management – makes regular follow-ups on the Distributors and Retailers and ensures healthy product stock level.
Job holder will attend to customers’ and end-users complaints promptly.
Conduct periodic survey and collects market information on product demand, performance, competitor’s products, and customers’ demand.
Prepares and executes the approved Sales budget ensures good Return on Investment (ROI). 

Education and Experience:

A degree in Business Administration, Marketing and related discipline.
MBA will be an added advantage.
7 years of cogent sales experience; out of which 3 years must be at senior level within the manufacturing industry.

Strong intrapersonal/interpersonal skills.
Good selling and marketing skills,
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Numerate and familiar with data analysis and reporting.
Demonstrate strong leadership qualities in team and client management
High level of integrity and enthusiasm.
