Responsibilities:
The Senior Production Manager will be responsible for providing manufacturing and technical support to meet departmental strategic objectives.
Department Strategic Objectives
Supply budgeted volumes and financial targets
Ensure product quality with <0.1% defect
Safe/Eco friendly work environment (OLTA)
Comply with all regulatory requirements.
Report to:
The job holder will be reporting to the Head of Manufacturing (Solid), Head of Technical (Dotted), Chief Engineer, Operations Manager, Production Manager (Finishing), NPD Teams.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support to go lean across the factory especially in the manufacturing areas.
Support the process plants in investigating losses and closing same.
Operational and process optimization to ensure high productivity.
Delivery of OEE improvement across the finishing and process plants
Support for optimization projects across the site.
Determine product disposition and solving various technical issues relating to the product.
Product failures and corrective actions.
Collaborative relationship between process, finishing, engineering and QC.
Implement best practice in developing process and technical solutions.
Qualification and Experience:
Minimum of B.Sc./B.Tech. Degree Chemical Engineering/Industrial Chemistry
Required Experience in oil refining process, soap making and packaging, CI Techniques.
