A Senior Network Engineer is sought to manage ICT Office operations, assuming full accountability for the department’s responsibilities and activities while ensuring robust support for Skyline University Nigeria’s (SUN) essential functions in alignment with departmental objectives.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and repairing computers across labs, classrooms, faculties, and departments, as well as maintaining projectors in these spaces. Additionally, ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment in the Computer Lab and other departments is a key responsibility.
Ensure prompt and effective technical assistance is delivered to clerical, administrative personnel, faculty, and students.
Perform tasks as directed by the IT Consultant.
This role operates under the supervision of the Head of the Computing Department within CLS DAC, as well as the Dean.
Ensure the reliable operation and upkeep of the File server and Student server systems.
Skilled technicians will deploy, set up, and troubleshoot computer systems across laboratories, classrooms, faculty offices, and departmental facilities to ensure optimal functionality and user support.
To ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of projectors in laboratories and classrooms.
Enroll newly hired employees in the biometrics system and oversee the complete operational framework to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Responsibilities include managing all server backup operations to ensure data integrity and availability.
To conduct inspections of the laboratories and classrooms, ensuring the proper functioning of all IT equipment.
The incumbent will establish and enforce policies to ensure the security of data stored on file servers, implementing robust measures to safeguard sensitive information against unauthorized access or breaches.
