Job Description

Oversee the enhancement of the Leadership for Equity, Advocacy & Development (LEAD) Fellowship’s design and implementation across the 10 chosen institutions.

Responsible for managing the review and enhancement of the Campus Champion Manual, which encompasses modules for the virtual learning lab, as well as supervising the knowledge delivery platform and recruiting subject-matter experts.

Oversee the virtual learning lab, facilitate learning circles, conduct capstone sessions, and guide the fellowship cohort experience.

Design and oversee the Policy Lab, internal university competitions, regional semifinals, and the national finals held in Abu Dhabi.

Identify partners aligned with specific sectors and themes, providing support for technical placements of finalist teams within governance and civic organizations.

Organize and lead consultative gatherings, kickoff workshops, and collaborative discussions involving diverse stakeholders.

Broker partnerships with civic organizations, governance institutions, feminist networks, and policy actors to facilitate collaboration and strategic alliances.

Maintain accurate documentation, manage knowledge systems, and track outcomes using the designated dashboard.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of progressive experience in a related field, along with a proven track record of success in similar roles. The ideal applicant must possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in industry-specific software, tools, or methodologies is essential, and familiarity with current trends and best practices is highly advantageous. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required, though advanced degrees or specialized certifications may be preferred.

A Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Public Policy, Public Administration, Governance, Development Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, Law, Social Work, Human Rights, Peace & Conflict Studies, or a closely related discipline is required.

We seek candidates with three to six years of progressive experience in governance, civic engagement, youth leadership development, gender justice, policy advocacy, or related fields.

Proven ability to lead the design or management of programs, fellowships, or collaborative multi-institutional initiatives.

Proficient understanding of feminist frameworks, power dynamics, and systematic approaches to analysis is essential.

Demonstrated expertise in fostering productive relationships with governmental entities, regulatory bodies, and senior institutional leaders.

A proven ability to cultivate strong partnerships, effectively manage coalitions, and convene diverse stakeholders is essential.

Exceptional proficiency in writing, conceptual thinking, and communication is essential.

Proficiency in collaborating with youth, student organizations, or leadership development initiatives is highly desirable.

Capable of generating forward-thinking frameworks, constructing strategic models, and converting abstract ideas into practical, executable plans.

Proficiency in travel coordination and willingness to embark on business trips are essential.
