Senior Factory HR Executive (Abeokuta)

The Senior Factory HR Executive is responsible for overseeing all HR functions at the factory level, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and welfare. This role ensures the implementation of HR policies, workforce planning, and engagement strategies to maintain a motivated and productive workforce. The Senior Factory HR Executive will work closely with factory leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment & Workforce Planning:

Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract skilled factory workers.
Oversee onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
Maintain accurate workforce planning to ensure production demands are met.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

Serve as the first point of contact for all employee relations issues at the factory.
Implement engagement programs to boost morale and retention.
Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts professionally and fairly.

Performance Management & Training:

Drive performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions.
Identify training needs and coordinate capacity-building programs.
Work with department heads to ensure skill development aligns with business needs.

Compliance & HR Administration:

Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and health & safety regulations.
Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and disciplinary documentation.
Manage payroll inputs, leave records, and attendance tracking.

Health, Safety, and Welfare:

Implement policies that promote employee health and safety.
Oversee factory welfare initiatives, such as medical support and employee assistance programs.
Address employee grievances and escalate issues when necessary.

 Educational Qualifications, Experience & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification is an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Experience in managing factory workforce recruitment, training, and employee relations.
Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and payroll management systems
