Job description
This position will support all ERP matters within WAMS (HR, Accounting, Finance, Operations, Logistics, Business…) with the expectation to analyze work process design and flow, improve business processes and leverage technology systems capabilities.
This position serves as a technical POC and IT liaison for assigned ERP systems and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report creation and creating and analyzing data flows to current and future technologies. It is responsible for regular communication with internal customers (mainly each Group related Entity’s Senior ERP Developer) and will need to possess the ability to translate customer requests into workable ERP updates.
This position typically works on multiple deadline driven projects at any given time.
Job Responsibilities also include:
Being the technical and functional leader of all ERP systems used within WAMS
Participate in the design and implementation of all technical and functional changes within ERP systems of WAMS
Support the centralized data reporting and analytics from all ERP solutions used per Entity (Legal, Business Intelligence…)
Complete Risk Assessments on all ERP systems (logical, organizational)
Work as Project/Implementation Director on all ERP implementations/integrations and configuration projects
Desired Skills and Experience
Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer systems design or computer science, and/or 10 years equivalent work experience
5+ years work experience of MS Dynamics ERP solutions including development (AXapta mandatory, NAVision and GP being a must)
Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of ERP solutions.
Direct, hands-on experience with ERP systems and integrations.
Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
