Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accountant with expertise in lending and payment.
Responsibilities
Financial Operations Management:
Ensure accurate accounting and reporting of all lending and payment transactions.
Manage the reconciliation of loan portfolios, payment settlements, and related accounts.
Monitor and optimize cash flow related to lending disbursements and payment collections.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and deliver timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Develop financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making for lending and payment operations.
Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Compliance and Risk Management:
Maintain adherence to industry regulations, including lending and payment-specific financial guidelines.
Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
Assist in audits by providing comprehensive documentation and resolving inquiries.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Partner with technology teams to implement and enhance financial systems related to lending and payments.
Leadership and Collaboration:
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to foster a culture of excellence.
Work cross-functionally with teams such as finance, operations, and compliance to align goals.
Compulsory Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in lending and payments.or financial sector
Proven track record of managing financial processes in a financial services or fintech environment.
Additional Requirements:
Proficient in accounting software and payment processing systems.
Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP standards and financial reporting requirements.
