Our school is seeking a reliable and vigilant security guard to ensure the safety and security of our school premises. This is a residential position, and the successful candidate will live within the school premises to provide round-the-clock security.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and secure the school premises, ensuring the safety of students, staff, and property.
Control access to the school by screening visitors and maintaining a log of entries and exits.
Patrol the grounds regularly to detect and prevent any suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms or security breaches and notify relevant authorities if needed.
Ensure the proper locking and unlocking of gates, doors, and windows as required.
Assist with fire safety procedures, including regular checks of fire extinguishers and emergency exits.
Provide support during school events, ensuring order and security.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a security guard or in a similar role (preferred).
Ability to remain alert and respond quickly to security concerns.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Trustworthy, responsible, and physically fit.
Basic knowledge of safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
Willingness to live on the school premises and be available for emergencies.
