Job ProfileProviding startup sales training to new inbound Field Sales Representatives (FSR). This role will have a support team of Sales Trainers and Sales Training Specialists reporting to it. Purpose of the Job is to equip new FSR with theoretical and practicalknowledge and skills in the problem led sales approach.Reporting line: Director Sales Recruitment and TrainingKey ResponsibilitiesProcessUnderstand and champion 8 day training process and content. This position is responsible for following an 8 day training process and curriculum. Mornings are generally spent in classroom type training and afternoons on role play. The Senior Sales Trainer needs to oversee and be an expert in both.
Objective / Output: Industrialized output of consistently trained FSR who are immediately achieving target productivity & active
levels.
Monitor class progress:
This position is solely responsible for deciding which inbound FSR candidates are accepted as the FSR and which are deemed unsuitable. Sales results are tracked against each trainer.
Objective / Output: Retention rates double from 2017 due to high calibre of new FSRs.
Track results in first month:
Once training is complete Trainer needs to follow up with each new FSR and track their results individually. Liaising with OpCo leadership as needed to maximize the FSRs chances of success.
Objective / Output: Target productivity & active targets for Month 1 met.
Organisation of training and follow up:
Oversee and organise entire start up training process Including all planning, supplies, venues, tracking and linkages to OpCo.
Work with relevant OpCo leadership and support teams to troubleshoot issues.
Objective / Output: Streamlined and smooth sales training with all controllables taken care of.
Communication:
Follow OGE processes on reporting, sales and leadership.
Communicate results, processes and R&T responsibilities widely within the OpCo and to R&T leadership.
Objective / Output: Widespread OpCo understanding of R & T responsibilities and results
Requirements
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
3 years of relevant work experience
Track record of being a Top Sales performer in Energy sales – Solar, Generator
Training experience in Energy – Solar, Generator
Deep understanding of sales and the sales processes
WORKING CONDITIONS
Frequent travel required.
Training occurs in the field, each training cycle takes 11 days and staff often carry out 3 – 5 cycles consecutively.
