Responsibilities
Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
Develop a deep understanding of the product range to provide informed and tailored recommendations to customers.
Handle customer inquiries promptly, providing accurate information and resolving complaints with professionalism and care.
Process transactions efficiently using the store’s point-of-sale system, including handling cash and card payments.
Maintain the store’s visual appeal by ensuring shelves are well-stocked, merchandise neatly arranged, and promotional displays are attractive.
Promote sales actively by upselling and cross-selling products, highlighting special deals and new arrivals.
Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall success.
Support inventory management by conducting stock checks, reporting low stock levels, and assisting with inventory restocking.
Participate in promotional activities and events to attract and retain customers.
Keep abreast of current market trends and customer preferences to provide valuable insights to management.
Requirements
Previous experience in a retail, sales, or customer service role is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong rapport with customers.
A positive and approachable attitude, coupled with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to meeting sales targets.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
Basic numeracy skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems (POS) or willingness to learn.
