Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Identify and establish relationships with farmers, agribusinesses, cooperatives, and distributors.
Conduct field visits, product demonstrations, and farmer training sessions.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements with clients and distributors.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Marketing & Promotion:
Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote agricultural products, such as fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and farm equipment.
Develop marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and social media content.
Organize and participate in agricultural trade fairs, exhibitions, and field days.
Maintain an active social media and digital presence for brand awareness.
Work with the research & development team to introduce innovative agricultural solutions to the market.
Customer Relationship Management:
Provide after-sales support and technical advice to customers.
Address customer queries and complaints effectively.
Build long-term relationships with clients to enhance customer loyalty.
Market Research & Reporting:
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
Analyze sales data and prepare reports for management.
Provide insights on customer preferences and industry trends.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Agribusiness, Marketing, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in agricultural sales & marketing preferred.
Strong knowledge of agriculture, crop production, fertilizers, pesticides, and seeds.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and travel extensively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
A valid driver’s license is a plus.
