Sales Manager, West Africa (Satellite & Broadcasting)

Job Summary

To generate business in your designated region and maintain current customer base.

Key Responsibilities

Generate and qualify leads
Negotiate and close high revenue contracts
Present Sales proposals to prospects
Account manage and look for up-sell and/or cross-selling opportunities
Maintain sales activity records on the company’s CRM software
Attend broadcast exhibitions and conferences in your region
Monitor competitors, market conditions and product/service development
Gain a high level understanding of the technical aspects of the Company’s broadcast facilities (full training provided), and a wider understanding of the broadcast industry

Person Specification

At least 3 – 4 years B2B/Corporate sales management experience
Satellite background either equipment or selling solutions would be a strong advantage
A proven and verifiable sales record
Experience in the Broadcasting industry is a strong advantage
CRM software (Salesforce CRM) is a must have
Experience selling to emerging markets
A good understanding of Microsoft products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc.)
Strive on creating business and are confident in building professional relationships in B2B situations
Must hold a valid passport and be able to commit to travelling
