Essential Responsibilities
Perform sales and marketing activities: following up on UPS sales leads; strategic account planning; building relationships with potential customers; fact finding; analyzing business processes in relation to current systems; uncovering applications; cost justifying new systems and applications.
Accountable for achieving quarterly sales quota by selling to new or existing customers
Maintains and increasing the business market share.
Act as the customer advocate to ensure that the organization remains customer-focused
Compile all relevant data to determine the exact nature of the customer’s business needs and develop solutions for customer business problems
Responsible for account development, sales plans and forecasting
Need to negotiate price and finalize contract terms and conditions to close the deal
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience or equivalent in the UPS industry selling aftermarket services, contracts, and part
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to work independently
Strong problem solving skills
Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques
Self-motivated and extremely organized
Strong analytic and judgment skills
Works well in a team environment
