Our client is a leading West African full line insurance company offering a diverse range of products and services covering life, general and special risk businesses. Over the last half century, the organization has garnered experience across Nigeria in risk management and underwriting, and assisting corporate entities and individuals with various classes of cover.As a Sales Agent, you will work closely with the Marketing Lead to develop and increase sales of insurance products by following up on potential and existing clients. You will be required to build a portfolio of new clients.Job Responsibilities:
Generate new clients to increase the company’s client database.
Generate sales of insurance products with existing and new clients.
Develop innovative ideas to boost sales.
Develop and increase sales by following up on potential clients through visits and meetings.
To understand the products, and to communicate them effectively to existing and potential clients.
Advise on merits of insurance policies and the terms of sale.
Prepare and send weekly report to Line Head
Responsible for building and maintaining an excellent relationship with clients on an ongoing basis.
Perform other functions that may be assigned by the management.
Job requirements:
HND / B.Sc in Sales, Marketing or related disciplines.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a sales / marketing role.
Experience in marketing Insurance products will be an added advantage
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Packages
