Sales Executive Technical Manager

Roles and Responsibilities The objectives of the sale department are:

Overall Management of Company’s sales portfolio to maximize profit through devising strategies to attract and retain customers to meet and surpass set sales targets
Conduct and arrange for periodic market surveys so as to discover new markets and innovative ways to continue to penetrate our core markets.
Executing of brand marketing with the sales team, as well as public relations /advert activities for the organization
Constructively handling of all customer complaints related to your department.

The role of this position includes but not limited to the following: Sales and Marketing Functions:

Plan, organize, direct and control sales staff to meet their job duties and targets.
Drive the sales team and help team maximize their potentials.
Organize the sales team to establish realistic sales objectives for the month and action plan to achieve the sales target.
Responsible for the maintaining Company’s online presence.

Technical Support:

Liaise with the technical department for technical input on impending sales/ proposals
Ensure the technical department is accurately informed on the specifics of any particular project
Inform technical department of customers’ specific need in case of special request / needs.

Project Management:

Source for projects, where Company comes in as a full power solutions provider. E.g. electrification, generator supply, transformers sales and installation, etc
Meet with Management and the technical team to discuss such project specifications and need
Coordinate with the technical team on such ongoing projects to ensure the clients’ needs are being meet as agreed.

Customer Relationship Management:

Promote customer satisfaction through the ensuring that the customer returns and give Company new clients through personal contacts
Ensure that response time is adhered to in giving feedback to customer on proposals and technical information required
Manage the customer in conjunction with technical to ensure that customers’ needs are met.
Human Resources Management Support
In conjunction with the HR department participates in the recruitment of employees for the department;
Assign, direct, and evaluate direct staff work;
Oversee the development of staff competence
Conduct staff performance appraisals
Scheduling staff assignments
Providing training and producing support material for team members.

Requirements

A university degree in Marketing or Business studies
5-7 years of experience in sales management.
Experience with enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations.
Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.
Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-oriented sales force
Strong leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
A valid driver’s license.

Skills/Qualifications Education / Experience:

First degree from a reputable University with a minimum of four years related experience.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ideal Candidate should be computer literate
Excellent leadership skills.

Should be able to pay attention to detail

Report Writing – Write reports to the Managing Director on a Monthly basis
