Sales Executive

Role Description

A sales executive is responsible for identifying and contacting potential clients, building relationships with them, understanding their needs, presenting products or services that align with those needs, negotiating deals, and closing sales to achieve set sales targets, while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to generate repeat business; essentially acting as the primary point of contact between a company and its clients.

Lead generation: Proactively searching for and identifying new potential clients through various channels like networking, cold calling, and online platforms.
Customer relationship building: Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with both prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Product knowledge: Gaining in-depth knowledge about the company’s products or services to effectively present their features and benefits to clients.
Sales presentations: Delivering compelling presentations to clients, showcasing the value proposition of the product or service, and addressing any concerns.
Negotiation: Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals.
Sales cycle management: Managing the entire sales process from initial contact to closing the deal, including following up with leads and managing customer expectations.
Sales reporting: Tracking sales performance against targets, analyzing market trends, and providing regular updates to sales management.
Market research: Staying updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities

Qualifications

Sales and Negotiation skills
Client Relationship Management and Customer Service skills
Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
Ability to meet sales targets and work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of the energy industry and commercial cards
Proven track record of sales success
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
