Sales Engineer (Flow Control) Treasury Manager

Job Summary 

As a Sales Engineer, you will drive sales growth, manage existing customer relationships, and identify  new business opportunities in the flow control solutions market. 
You will work under moderate supervision and act as a trusted advisor, leveraging technical knowledge  to provide expert guidance on flow control products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for  expanding market share, fostering long-term client relationships, and collaborating closely with internal  teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales  strategies and customer satisfaction.
This role requires a technical background in engineering combined with proven sales expertise to  develop strategic market opportunities and deliver solutions that align with the client’s needs.

Key Roles & Responsibilities 

Develop and execute value-driven sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand business  opportunities.
Identify, assess, and pursue new sales leads and project opportunities while evaluating potential  risks.
Implement brand awareness initiatives and targeted sales strategies to enhance market presence.
Proactively engage with multiple customers simultaneously, ensuring strong, long-term business  relationships.
Maintain and grow existing client relationships, ensuring continued satisfaction and business  retention.
Conducted professional sales presentations and delivered compelling proposals to potential clients.
Provide expert guidance on flow control technologies, helping clients select the most effective  solutions for their operational needs.
Conduct market research to analyze trends, identify competitive positioning, and uncover new growth  opportunities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including technical staff, operations, and decision-makers, to  facilitate the execution of the sales process.
Identify bidding opportunities and actively participate in proposal development to secure new  projects.
Support tender preparation, contract reviews, and negotiation processes to ensure competitive  positioning.
Ensure all sales activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality policies.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Work closely with the operations team, sales colleagues, and executive management to align business objectives.
And any other task as may be assigned to you by your supervisor

Job Specifications 

Academic / Professional Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or a related field) 
Equivalent industry experience may be considered.

Experience: 

Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably focusing on project pursuit and exposure to the flow control market. 
Proven capacity to drive sales of oil and gas equipment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced in using sales management tools. 
Good understanding of contract terms, conditions, negotiation strategies, and margin optimization to drive successful business outcomes.
