As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Sales and Cashier Associate to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional service and satisfaction.
Job Summary:
The Sales and Cashier Associate will play a key role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable customer experience at Homeland Foodie. This individual will be responsible for handling customer transactions, processing payments, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and providing excellent customer service. They will also assist in upselling products and supporting the sales team in achieving targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide assistance in selecting products or services, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
Accurately process customer transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges, using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Handle cash and electronic payments with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring proper cash register management.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions, and services to assist customers effectively.
Upsell and cross-sell products, promoting special offers and new items to maximize sales.
Assist in organizing the sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked, displayed, and easily accessible to customers.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly, maintaining a positive relationship with customers.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and work environment.
Collaborate with the sales team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of an OND (Ordinary National Diploma) in a relevant field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
Strong experience and familiarity with cash handling, sales, and customer service.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and professionalism.
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
A positive, enthusiastic, and friendly attitude.
