About the Role

As a Sales and Partnerships Associate, you’ll play a key role in driving revenue and supporting HOH’s ambitious goals. This role is primarily focused on sales execution, with some collaboration on partnerships to ensure HOH’s flagship conferences and initiatives reach the right stakeholders.

This is a fully remote role offering the opportunity to grow into a Team Lead position within 3 months or less, based on results and impact.
 

What You’ll Do

Sales Execution (80%)

Build relationships with prospective clients, focusing on startups, SMEs, and enterprises across Africa.
Execute targeted outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and CRM tools to generate and manage a pipeline of qualified leads.
Conduct discovery calls to identify client needs and present solutions in branding, marketing, and technology training.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and track progress toward individual and team goals.

Partnerships Support (10%)

Collaborate on Partnerships initiatives to research and engage relevant stakeholders, including NGOs, government parastatals, and key ecosystem players.
Support outreach efforts for HOH’s flagship conferences by assisting with research, organizing materials, and ensuring alignment between the sales and partnerships function.

Learning and Adaptation (10%)

Quickly master HOH’s offerings, target industries, and market dynamics to position solutions effectively.
Use feedback from clients and team members to refine your sales approach and deliver better results.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and client needs to maintain a competitive edge.

Who You Are

Must-Haves

1 to 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in media, marketing, or advertising services.
Proven ability to build pipelines, engage leads, and close deals in a fast-paced environment.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in client-facing interactions.
A fast learner who thrives on challenges and adapts quickly to new situations.
Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft suite to manage client data and deliver reports.
Results-driven with a clear ambition to grow into a leadership role.

Nice-to-Haves

Familiarity with Africa’s tech, media, or startup ecosystem.
Experience collaborating on or supporting conferences and industry events.
Previous success in remote roles that require self-discipline and strong organizational skills.
