Job Summary

The Sales and Marketing Personnel is responsible for driving sales, promoting the bakery’s brand, and attracting new customers while retaining existing ones.
This role involves developing marketing strategies, executing promotional campaigns, building relationships with customers, and analyzing sales performance to optimize results.

Key Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Relations:

Assist customers with product selection and provide detailed information about bakery items.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special orders professionally and promptly.
Upsell bakery products by recommending complementary items or promoting new offerings.
Monitor daily sales performance and report on key metrics to management.

Marketing and Promotion:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to boost bakery sales.
Organize and execute promotional campaigns, such as discounts, seasonal offers, and loyalty programs.
Manage the bakery’s social media accounts, creating engaging content and responding to customer interactions.
Collaborate with graphic designers or marketing agencies to create advertising materials (flyers, posters, etc.).
Plan and coordinate events, such as product launches or participation in food fairs.

Brand Development:

Maintain the bakery’s brand image and ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints.
Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve the bakery’s products and services.
Explore partnerships with local businesses or influencers to increase brand visibility.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and industry trends.
Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
Prepare regular reports on marketing campaigns, customer engagement, and sales performance.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the production team to ensure availability of promotional items and best-sellers.
Coordinate with the management team on pricing strategies and product launches.
Train sales staff on effective selling techniques and product knowledge.

Requirements

Candidates should possess an HND qualification with 4+ years relevant work experience.
