Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to applicable safety standards (e.g, Explosive rules,MSMD, and local laws).
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessment in the explosive handling and storage areas.
Develop, implement and enforce site-specific safety protocols and procedures.
Conduct safety training programs for all personnels.
Develop strategies for mitigating risks identified during investigations or inspections.
Evaluate and improve safety equipment and PPE compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety & fire Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
Certification in advanced Safety training.
Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial safety.
Proficiency in risk assessment and incident investigation
Physically fit
Candidates within Kaduna or close proximity is an added advantage.
