Retail Stock Management Lead

Job Description

Execute the retail plan and strategy, including station concept
Vendor management and evaluation of suppliers (engagement, selection, management and disengagement)
Product category management and analysis (quality and quantity management, shrinkage analysis, logistics)
Purchase order management and contract supply (order processing, bulk purchasing vs local ordering, cost management)
Inventory documentation control (tracking stock usage, stock availability, stock on hand, recorder levels)
Maintain accuracy and completeness of orders while ensuring correct stock allocation
Maintain effective inventory process, organize and monitor inventory levels to maximize efficiency
Ensure sufficient supply of current products by maintaining minimum stock holdings and forecasting stock requirements, ensure stock is delivered on time and in expected quality and condition
Analyze aged stock & discuss potential problems with Management & the stock management team
Work with team members to ensure that inventory control procedures are fully implemented.
Give detailed daily, weekly and monthly reports on stock movement, provide on-going stock exception analysis and reports, ensuring issues and opportunities are highlighted and actions proposed to improve stock turn and drive sales and profitability

Job Requirements/Qualification

7 – 10 years working experience
A Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Business Administration
Experience in stock control management
Familiar with the use of inventory softwares
Ability to create a strong working relationship with operational management team and central purchasing and shipping teams.
Good communication skills, leadership Skills, critical-thinking skills, organizational skills and problem-Solving Skills
