Restaurant Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff to ensure excellent customer service, maintain high-quality food and beverage standards, and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Supervision: Supervise restaurant staff, including servers, waiters, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff.
Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service, responding to customer complaints and resolving issues promptly.
Food and Beverage Quality: Maintain high-quality food and beverage standards, ensuring consistency and presentation.
Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
Cash Handling: Manage cash handling procedures, including handling customer payments and operating a point-of-sale system.
Restaurant Maintenance: Ensure the restaurant is clean, safe, and well-maintained, including coordinating repairs and maintenance.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other supervisors and management staff to achieve business objectives and improve restaurant operations.

Education and Qualifications

High School Diploma: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Restaurant Experience: 2+ years of experience in the restaurant industry, preferably in a supervisory or management role.

Required Skills:

Strong leadership skills, with ability to motivate and supervise staff.
Excellent customer service skills, with ability to respond to customer complaints and resolve issues.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with staff, customers, and management.
Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and ensuring efficient restaurant operations.
High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in food and beverage preparation and presentation.
