Job description

The incumbent manages the end-to-end recruitment cycle for the organisation, develops a talent pipeline, works with the business to forecast headcount plans and assists with succession planning cycles across the company and will be responsible for developing the recruitment function into a business-aligned, value-add function.

Main Activities / Responsibilities

Designs, develops and maintain the recruitment process in the organization
Review key jobs on an ongoing basis and ensure the pipeline is robust
Designs the selection matrix for choosing the optimum recruitment channel and recruitment source
Explores the market best practices in the recruitment and staffing and implement appropriate best practices in the organization
Builds a quality relationship with the internal customers and external recruitment agencies and provides support to functional HR team leads and business partners in various recruitment activities and to assess and prioritize recruitment needs
Monitors and constantly seeks innovative ways to reduce high costs of the recruitment process and delivers maximum value on time to hire and cost per hire
Sets the social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the organization
Arranges for interviews for positions and sometimes conducts job interviews for the designated job positions
Monitors the labor legislation and implements required changes to keep the process compliant
Consolidate the LinkedIn Recruiter tool as well as the ATS applicant system and any other platform used by the country in hiring people
Assist with Career Fairs and any job fairs or related events that the Company wished to engage in
Acts as the first point of contact for HR business partners on recruitment and hiring matters
Designs adequate training for HR Recruiters and hiring line managers
Drives the graduate internship scheme currently in place in the organization.
Plans innovative approaches to identifying resources and builds a qualified resource pool for current and future projects
Ensure effective candidate selection assessment and on-boarding processes are in place

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related role
Membership of HR Professional Bodies is preferred
Basic knowledge of labour and industrial relations laws
Knowledge of global best practices in recruitment and sourcing
Experience with recruitment projects at any level in any organization essential
Experience with handling third party recruiters and handling related services
Handling multiple priorities
Computer literate
Structured methodical approach, with excellent operational standards
Strong knowledge of the business, contemporary trends and practices in talent resourcing
Strong interviewing and person assessment skills
Knowledge of social media processes/tools an advantage
