Details
The Registrar is a Principal Officer responsible to the Provost for the day-to-day administration of the College.
The Registrar of the College shall by virtue of the office be Secretary of the Council and Academic Board.
The Candidate
The candidate for the position of Registrar shall be a person of proven Integrity and be ready to provide leadership as a Team player towards the achievement of the overall goal of the College.
He/she shall be expected to be:
Of strong moral character and a goal-getter, who possesses cognate experience in the administration of human and material resources to provide a world class administrative support
IT compliance (Computer Literate)
Non-ethic, political, religious and sectional bias
A team player with ability to delegate responsibilities, instill confidence and command loyalty of others
Not more than fifty(50) years of age as at the date of possible assumption of office.
Mentally and physically fit
Qualification and Experience
A good honours degree (not below Second Class Honours) and a Master Degree in Public Administration from a recognized University. Membership of a recognized relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
The candidate must be a Deputy Registrar in a Polytechnic and must have at least Ten (10) years post qualification cognate experience and must have served In the Registry of a Polytechnic for at least fifteen (15) years.
