Job Description

The Registrar is the chief Administrative Officer of the College.
He/She is responsible to the Provost for the day to day General Administration of the College.
The successful candidate is by virtue of the office, the Secretary to the Governing Council and may perform such other duties as may be assigned to him/herfrom time by the provost and the Governing Council.

Qualification and Experience

The Applicant must process good honours degrees from recognized institutions of learning.
Higher Degrees will be an added advantage, plus evidence of NYSC Certificate of Service.
The Applicant should have a minimum of fifteen (15) years post-Qualification Administration or Professional Experience, Five(s) of which must have been spent on a Senior Level in an Institution of Higher Learning.
The Applicant must be registered with at least a professional body.
Preference will be given to candidates within the College of Education System.
The Applicant must have demonstrable and proven innovative abilities and drive.
He/she must be proficient in the use of information and Communication Technology (ICT)

Terms and Conditions of Service

The terms and conditions of service are as applicable to similar institutions within the Nigerian Colleges of Education System d as may be determined from time to time by the Governing Council.
The tenure of the office of the Registrar is Five in the first instance, effective from the date of appointment.
The successful appointees may be re-appointed for one further term of Five (5) years and no more.
