Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for women during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum
Conduct prenatal and postnatal examinations
Provide education and support to women and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting
Take/Assist with deliveries and perform midwifery procedures as needed
Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Stay current with evidence-based practice and professional development
Requirements
Current registration as a Registered Nurse Midwife with the relevant professional body
Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Registered Nurse Midwife
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice
Resident in Ibadan(new ife road axis)
