Location: Kubwa, Abuja (FCT)
Responsibilities
Preparing examination rooms for patient examination.
Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures and ensuring patients comfort
Performing diagnostic imaging to obtain clear, usable images
Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.
Participating in pain management for children.
Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the physician and updating patients’ records
Organizing daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic equipment supplies.
Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic repairs.
Performing other administrative task such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments and offering pre-procedure advice.
Remaining up to date on the latest developments, rules, and regulations, drug therapies, equipment, and treatment procedures.
Requirements
Academic: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Radiography (BSc, MR)
Professional License: Must have valid and updated practising license
Work Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of working experience.
Computer skills: Candidate must have good knowledge of computer
Registration: The ideal candidate must be a member of the professional body.
