Main Responsibilities
Ensure cost control and enhance value for money whilst ensuring that projects are executed to meet quality assurance and legal standards.
Plan, oversee, and manage all costs associated with building/construction projects, from outset until completion.
Procurement of materials, tracking and co-ordination of deliveries.
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with project architect.
Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies;
Performing risk, value management and cost control; advising on procurement strategy.
Maintaining database of contractors/ sub-contractors.
Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.
Carrying out valuation of completed work by sub-contractors and arranging payments.
Providing advice on contractual claims.
Requirements
Minimum of HND/B.Sc in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Possess high level of integrity.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
Project management skills.
2-5 years’ experience in the development and implementation of construction projects.
Professional membership of SCN (Surveyor council of Nigeria).
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
