Quantity Surveyor

Job Objective

To maximize project margin and add value to the construction process by proactive involvement in procurement, cost management and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities

Estimating and cost planning.
Procurement advice.
Tender document preparation and Tender reporting.
Contract administration and cost control
Interim valuations.
Cost reporting Final account preparation.
Contract and dispute advice.
Carrying out Employer’s Agent / Contract Administrator / Project Manager Instructions.
To attend meetings and undertake site visits.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must hold a Quantity Survey Degree.
Keen to develop knowledge, skills and ability.
Must have handled Quantity Surveying projects alone, producing all deliverable such as Recitals/ Preambles/ Contract Conditions/Supplementary Conditions/ Preliminaries/ Bill of Quantities/ Post contract supervision and documentation according to quality standards and client specification.
Innovative,creative and proactive thinker
Work well with others to obtain necessary information to carry out Tender/Contract documents.
Organised, smart and willing to learn.
