Details:Our client is a leading flexible and rigid packaging manufacturer, producing a range of flexible packaging, PET bottle and preforms to various leading FMCG companies present in Nigeria, such as Unilever, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Nestle, Promasidor and NBC. They are in need of well experience maintenance in charge manager.Responsibilities
Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.
Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation
Considering the application of environmental and health and safety standards in all jobs done in the factory;
Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that productmodifications are investigated if necessary;
assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and comparing with customer requirements
working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
liaising with customers’ auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers’ specifications
Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.
Other Accountabilities
Reviewing the quality performance of products.
Carry out other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the General Manager
Minimum Education and Experience for the position:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and knowledge of management system like ISO 9000, philosophies, Total Quality Management and methodologies such as Continuous improvement will be an added advantage.
