Key Responsibilities:
Receive and log samples from the plant and vendors
Accurately prepare samples, conduct analysis, interpret and record results in lab databases
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
Perform proper rotation and/or disposal of reserved samples
Participate in continuous improvement of the food safety management system
Conduct line inspections of production processes
Enforce GMP compliance on factory premises
Promote a strong food safety culture within the plant
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Food Science, Microbiology, or related fields
Minimum of 2 years of post-NYSC relevant experience
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent communication and time management skills
Knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems, Good Laboratory Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices
