Key Responsibilities
The QHSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS) compliance, Occupational Health standards, Workplace Safety practices, and NEBOSH guidelines.
Implement and enforce QHSE policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits.
Ensure compliance with local and international QHSE regulations.
Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and promote a safety-first culture.
Provide QHSE training and awareness programs for employees.
Maintain and update QHSE reports, records, and documentation.
Qualifications
Health & Safety and Workplace Safety skills
Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and NEBOSH certification
Experience in Occupational Health and Safety practices
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an QHSE role.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
