JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized professional to join our team as a Project Support Manager. He/ She will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating project support functions across multiple projects to ensure efficient execution and delivery. This role involves managing project resources, monitoring progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The individual will serve as a key liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Coordination and Management:
Lead and coordinate support functions for multiple projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon plans.
Develop and implement project management tools, templates, and processes to enhance efficiency.
Resource Allocation and Optimization:
Manage resource allocation across projects to maximize efficiency and minimize conflicts.
Collaborate with project managers to address resource challenges and ensure team capacity aligns with project demands.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related support queries and concerns.
Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring expectations are managed and updates are provided.
Risk Management and Problem-Solving:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address project challenges.
Troubleshoot issues, providing solutions to ensure projects stay on track.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Track project progress and performance metrics, preparing detailed reports for senior management.
Evaluate the success of completed projects and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct performance reviews and provide training to enhance team capabilities.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP) is an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience in project management or support, with at least 3 years in a senior/leadership role.
Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Skills:
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
Digital marketing skills is an added advantage.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft word etc).
