The Project Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of a world-class skills development and vocational training project for local artisans. The Project Manager will be responsible for the end to end delivery of the project and will be accountable for Customer Satisfaction and Profitability of the project. The role would involve planning, reviewing and corrective action planning for the project, managing varied teams, building relationships with key stakeholders in the client environment, monitoring and reporting on project impact, and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Project Manager will also be responsible to manage the P&L of the project, by ensuring targets are met, expenses are minimised and manage the budget according to the approved budget.
Key Responsibities
Create a plan for successful implementation of the project within set deadlines and profitability targets
Identify, acquire, groom and maintain a high quality workforce for the project working closely with the HR department
Oversee Train-the-Trainer and certification of the project personnel deployed for the training and development project
Oversee the creation of curriculum and other such support material required for successful delivery of the project
Design / oversee the development of world-class practical assessments including trainee monitoring and audit post-training (and the delivery of high impact training report and recommendations to client)
Work closely with the client teams to schedule and support the project including the identification of on-the-job / on-site training opportunities according to work schedules
Build relationships with critical senior management stakeholders in the client and get their ownership of the project
Manage day-to-day operations of the project
Constantly seek opportunities for up selling / cross selling our range of products with the client. Once identified, closely work with the internal teams to submit a proposal and acquire the order.
Develop and monitor key performance lead and lag indicators with an emphasis on creating improved performance through training
Continuously monitor and solicit feedback on all training programs and materials to ensure accuracy, relevance and effectiveness
