Project Lead, Pulse Picks Executive Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to join the Pulse Picks team. As a Project Lead, you will play a critical role in driving the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams, and delivering exceptional project outcomes that align with Pulse Picks’ mission to connect, inspire, and engage audiences.
Reporting to the Vice President of Direct to Consumer, you will oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring milestones are met and quality standards are upheld.

Responsibilities
Project Vision and Strategy:

Collaborate with the VP, D2C to establish a clear vision and strategic direction for Pulse Picks and its verticals.
Translate strategic goals into actionable plans and milestones for the project team.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

Lead, coordinate, and oversee the cross-functional project team, including design, content, marketing, and technical staff.
Foster a collaborative environment and ensure that all team members are aligned with the project’s objectives.

Project Planning and Management:

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
Manage sprints and project planning across all Picks team towards agreed milestones.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and deliverables.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the key liaison between Pulse Picks and all stakeholders, both internal and external, including clients, business partners, and community representatives.
Communicate effectively, providing regular updates and gathering feedback to incorporate into project planning.

Product Development:

Act as the Product Manager, leading efforts to ensure that product development for Pulse Picks aligns with user expectations and market demand.
Collaborate with the social, growth and editorial team to integrate feedback and market insights into product enhancements.

Quality Assurance:

Uphold the quality of the Pulse Picks experience by overseeing quality control across all project elements.
Implement standards and practices that ensure excellence in both product and content.

Analytics and Reporting:

Utilize analytics to track project performance against KPIs and report findings to senior management.
Share monthly performance report across all picks projects
Make data-driven decisions to enhance project outcomes and ROI.

Risk Management:

Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Ensure that project deliverables are met while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

Experience:

At least 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the digital media, e-commerce, or content-commerce sectors.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing end-to-end project lifecycles.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

Tools:

Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
Proficiency in using analytics tools like Google Analytics or similar platforms.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other collaboration tools like Slack and Zoom.
