Project Assistant

Role Description

This is a volunteer part time (10–20 hours per week) or full time (21–40 hours per week) remote role for a Project Assistant at Voice to the Street. The Project Assistant will be responsible for supporting educational, entrepreneurship, foster care, StreetTech, campaign, and annual projects for street children. Daily tasks may include project coordination, communication with stakeholders, data collection, report generation, and assistance in organizing events and initiatives.

Responsibility

Draft letters and send them to appropriate bodies, and receive incoming mails
Create specific strategies for easier and effective execution of projects
Maintain contacts with current and potential stakeholders who may be directly involved in the project.
Keep and maintain records of all information related to project for documentation, clarification, and presentation to the board
Draft project proposal ideas and present them to the head of department
Partake in fundraising activities for project
Assist the project manager
Work on projects in your team from conception stage to execution stage

Qualifications

Project coordination and management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work remotely and independently
Passion for social impact and education
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience in working with NGOs or community projects
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools
Knowledge of educational empowerment programs is a plus
