This position blends the roles of video editor and videographer, tasked with creating high-caliber video content for One Acre Fund’s training initiatives, marketing efforts, fundraising campaigns, and brand projects, all designed to highlight the organization’s impact on farmers—with a particular emphasis on youth and women.

This role will integrate storytelling, social behavior change methodologies, and marketing expertise to assist One Acre Fund in crafting and disseminating powerful impact narratives.

Your primary responsibility will involve documenting the experiences of farmers to highlight the transformative effects of One Acre Fund’s initiatives, both at the individual farmer level and across generations.

Conducts a broad spectrum of duties encompassing project management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure project objectives are met efficiently. Delivers regular progress updates, troubleshoots challenges, and implements corrective actions as needed. Maintains meticulous documentation, adheres to compliance standards, and oversees budget tracking to optimize resource allocation. Facilitates meetings, aligns team efforts with strategic goals, and reports key performance indicators to leadership. Participates in risk assessment and mitigation strategies while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Crafting high-caliber, brand-aligned films that excel in storytelling is our focus, ensuring each production reflects professional quality and resonates with the intended audience.

Produce compelling, high-quality video and audio content utilizing DSLR and smartphone cameras to evoke strong emotional responses from viewers.

Expertly organizing and overseeing video production projects across all operational regions, collaborating closely with regional teams to ensure cohesive execution.

Professional Quality, On Brand, Storytelling Video Editing:

Developing detailed storyboards and scripts to align seamlessly with the provided brief post-production is essential. This involves translating creative concepts into structured visual and narrative frameworks that effectively convey the intended message. Additionally, collaboration with the creative team ensures alignment between the storyboard, script, and overall project objectives, maintaining consistency and coherence throughout the execution.

Proficient in subtitling videos in seven or more languages, ensuring accurate translation and cultural adaptation while maintaining synchronization with the audio.

Redrafting videos to accommodate diverse needs and applications.

Deliver high-quality, custom motion graphics that align with brand identity and project specifications.

Conduct thorough interviews and craft compelling narratives to effectively capture and convey stories.

Source, cultivate, and craft compelling narratives by scouting and nurturing innovative stories in the field, guided by a concise brief.

Conduct interviews designed to draw out compelling, distinctive, and emotionally resonant responses that advance the narrative progression from participants.

Review agricultural reports and translate their insights into potential narrative frameworks, subsequently designing interview strategies to construct these frameworks.

Responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of video systems, ensuring optimal functionality, reliability, and performance across all platforms and environments. Maintains accountability for the strategic planning, implementation, and management of video infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components. Requires expertise in system administration, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination to deliver seamless video delivery and user experiences. Must adhere to industry standards, security protocols, and compliance requirements while driving continuous improvement and innovation in video technology solutions.

From time to time, this role involves overseeing freelance contractors and accommodating video production teams selected by donors during on-site filming.

Oversee the curation and systematic arrangement of One Acre Fund’s video archive and footage storage systems.

Create and manage the One Acre Fund video production timeline, ensuring stakeholders remain informed about upcoming video projects.
