We are a fast-growing eCommerce company in Nigeria. We are seeking a dedicated Product Sourcing/Procurement Assistant to help us source quality products, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure smooth delivery to our warehouses.
Key Responsibilities:
Research products and suppliers on Alibaba, 1688, and other platforms to meet company needs.
Research products and suppliers in Nigerian (Lagos) markets
Negotiate favorable terms, including pricing and delivery timelines, with suppliers.
Request and evaluate product samples to ensure quality standards.
Coordinate shipment to our warehouses.
Maintain accurate records of supplier interactions, purchase orders, and product details.
Track shipments and provide timely updates to the reporting manager.
Build strong relationships with reliable suppliers while safeguarding company confidentiality.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in product sourcing or procurement.
Familiarity with Alibaba, 1688, or similar platforms.
Proven negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of international shipping processes and customs requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, or procurement software.
