Product Manager Support Electrical/Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

STRATEGY

Continuously assess initiatives, products and features in order to identify areas for growth and expansion.
Analyze competitive landscape and customers to provide data-driven recommendations on new and existing products.
Proactively organize and independently lead proceedings with CXOs and stakeholders in order to achieve strategic product desired outcome.
Responsible for Assessing, Dissecting and Analyzing any existing or new product or feature opportunity thrown by staffs or external persons based on : Need, Target Market, Willingness to Pay and Financial Viability
Responsible for advising on how the company can position competitively in a complex business economy.
Organize and take ownership of brainstorming sessions in order to gain desired outcome.

RESEARCH

Conduct extensive research using relevant Methodology, ranging from surveys, interviews, site visitation, and internet research e.t.c to identify numerous opportunities and determine which products/features customers will be willing to pay for.
Identify, aggregate, and analyze data to communicate market and resource trends.
Justify the rationale for venturing into an opportunity or product with appropriate strategic documentation, ranging from Business Case Documents, White Paper, Concept Paper, Proposal, Presentation
Continuously research into possible product improvement and enhancement

FINANCIAL

Substantiate and nail business cases with sample financial simulation and projection
Come up with competitive pricing strategies for all products based on market understanding and competitive landscape

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Engage with customers through remote sessions and physical meeting in order to elicit detailed requirement of an opportunity and communicate clearly to stakeholders.
Develop all core technical documentation to back up all products which include but not limited to: Functional Requirement Document, Business Requirement Document. User Manual e.t.c
Plan product road maps using tools like Jira, Trello e.t.c
Manage features and product release as well as backlogs using tools like Jira or Trello
Work closely with developers to ensure they are delivering on expectations
Organize daily standups in alliance with the Head of Product
Dynamically Prioritize and plan feature development and release based on concrete metrics (e.g needs of customer, minimum viable product e.t.c)
Use requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests and manage a project scope, user acceptance and deployment.

Qualifications

Must have at least 4-5 years experience
Prior experience as a Product manager is compulsory
Must be open to Hybrid work mode
