Job Role
The Product Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to drive the development and improvement of our products.
They will also be responsible for maintaining alignment with customer needs and industry trends while ensuring timely delivery and quality output.
key Responsibilities
Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned product lines.
Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, customer value, and technical feasibility.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Conduct market research and gather customer insights to inform product decisions.
Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
Analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Ensure a seamless user experience through regular enhancements and exceptional support.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
Ensure products comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related fields.
3 – 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within the fintech industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in product management tools such as Jira, Click Up, Aha!, or similar.
Proficiency in various user research techniques.
Proficiency in various A/B testing techniques.
Proficiency in various data analysis tools and techniques.
Understanding of agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience with lending platforms or other financial services products.
Understanding of web, mobile and backend technologies, and experience having technical discussions with engineering teams.
Knowledge of the Nigerian fintech ecosystem and regulatory landscape.
Passion for innovation and user-centric design.
