Product Manager Business Development Manager (Cards Business)

Job Description

As a Product Manager at Sproxil Nigeria, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our products and services in the Nigerian market.
You will be directly responsible for managing our innovation pipeline at Sproxil Nigeria, ensuring that our most promising ideas that deliver the greatest impact are skillfully nurtured from concept, to pilot, to full-scale deployment backed by sustainable business plans developed in collaboration with the business development department.
While reporting directly to the head of the business development department, you will work closely with our business development, finance, sales, service delivery and technology teams to understand market needs, identify opportunities, and deliver solutions that meet the evolving demands of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy: Develop and execute a product strategy aligned with Sproxil’s overall business objectives.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery.
Product Specification: Create detailed product specification documentation for current and future solutions, including pricing, training manuals and videos for internal and external use. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure only the latest and most accurate product descriptions are used in all client and supplier-facing materials.
Product Launch: Plan and execute successful product launches, including marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and customer training, in collaboration with the sales and marketing team.
Customer Experience: Collaborate with the service delivery team to drive customer satisfaction by understanding their needs, addressing pain points, and incorporating customer feedback into Sproxil Nigeria’s product roadmap.
Data Analysis and Product Lifecycle Management: Utilize data analytics to track product performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making. Provide recommendations for when products need to be upgraded, significantly altered or phased out, using a strong understanding of data to develop business cases for such changes in conjunction with the business development team.
Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification
Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management within a reputable technology company. Experience managing technology products and services is a core requirement.
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, from ideation to launch and post-launch support.
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise business terms.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to openly collaborate across multiple departments
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
