Procurement Officer – Technical

Job Summary

You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring technical equipment, materials, and services required for our operations.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality technical products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for technical equipment, materials, and services.
Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value for the organization.
Collaborate with technical teams to understand procurement requirements and specifications.
Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or delays.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including supplier information, contracts, and purchase orders.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
At least three (3) years of related experience in technical procurement
Strong understanding of technical products, equipment, and services.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in procurement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
