Rumuneration: 1.8M monthly

Job Summary

We seek an experienced Procurement Manager with an Engineering background to oversee our client’s group’s equipment, materials, and services procurement, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute procurement plans and strategies to meet operational needs
Source and qualify local and international suppliers, particularly those with oil and gas industry expertise
Negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships
Ensure compliance with Nigerian regulations and company policies
Manage inventory levels and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Analyze market trends to secure the best prices and terms
Maintain accurate procurement records
Develop and implement vendor performance evaluation criteria

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, etc.) or a related field with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Familiarity with Nigerian procurement regulations and market dynamics
Excellent organizational and communication skills
