Private Wealth Advisor Team Lead, Fund Operations

Job Purpose

Cordros Asset Management Limited seeks highly motivated and experienced Wealth Advisor to join our team at Cordros Wealth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, developing new relationships, and providing comprehensive wealth management solutions.

Responsibilities   

Establish portfolios of high net-worth clients (NGN100million+ in liquid assets)
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients
Provide comprehensive wealth management solutions, including investment management, financial planning, and estate planning
Identify and capitalize on new business development opportunities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a holistic wealth management experience
Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes.

Job Requirements
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g, Finance, Economics, Business Administration)
Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are an added advantage.

Work Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in wealth management, investment banking, or a related field
For non-banking professionals, minimum of three years’ experience in Asset Management sales, Wealth Management, Marketing, or Business consultancy.
Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and wealth management principles
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Knowledge:
The incumbent must have proficiency knowledge in the following areas:

Strategic Thinking
Comprehensive knowledge of domestic and international banking products/services and procedures, treasury structures, equity markets, mutual funds, fiduciary services and other personal investment services.

Skills:
The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:

Ability to formulate and manage a successful prospecting leads program in order to meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets.

Work Cycle:
Hours/Days the incumbent is required to work

Monday – Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
Flexible working schedule is also available i.e remote work.
